Steirerkreuz
This time, the Graz detective Sandra Mohr and her supervisor Sascha Bergmann have to go to the remote Mürztal to solve a bizarre death with the jovial local police officer Ferdinand Franz: The entrepreneur Walter Fürst is dead in his own bed - with strangulation marks on his neck. His family, above all the strict matriarch Pauline Fürst, refuses to ask too direct questions. She wants to avoid a scandal like years ago, when a former employee was convicted of raping her daughter-in-law Magdalena. A pious wish, because traces from the night of death lead to the brothel on the outskirts. But even with the "insider knowledge" of their local colleague, who goes in and out of the brothel and is closely associated with the whore Milena, Sandra and Bergmann can't get any further in their investigations. There are also private complications, as Bergmann's son Daniel has also checked into the hotel, which triggers unwanted feelings in Sandra again. Meanwhile her boss is "working" on a "love revival" with Eva Merz, the colleague from forensics. Then a second murder occurs. The two investigators take this personally and do everything in their power to hunt down the perpetrator or perpetrators.
